today in this video I'll teach you how to create a social cue any questions and answers website like Stack Overflow Keira and yahoo answers this a website that we'll be creating in this video is a stunning professional and flexible social questions and answers website specially designed for online communities niche websites marketing websites developers websites or any kind of social communities creating this website is super easy you don't need any technical or programming knowledge to create this website anyone and everyone can simply follow my steps.
and create this amazing website this website has some really amazing features like detailed question layout managing everything on the front end creating and sharing polls ability to pick up the best answer upwards and downwards user points.
and badges verified badge view counters and detailed statistics etc obviously we will see all these features in complete detail throughout the video now before proceeding further before talking about more features on anything let me show you a quick demo of the website that we'll be creating in this POST basically, this is the website that you will achieve when you follow my steps throughout the video so if you see here the website that you see on his screen this is the exact same website that we'll be creating in this video at the top that you see over here.
this is our home page now if you notice one thing oh here we are not currently logged in as you can see that is the reason why we are getting this sign-in option so when a person comes to your websites visit your website and they are not logged in to you to the website they will get this page they will get this section share and grow the world's knowledge create a new account and when they log in this section will disappear.
okay so we will see how to do that sitting at the top we have the logo the first load thing that you see here is a logo obviously we can just replace this and put in our own logo then we have a simple menu we have different pages so, in this way, our website will also see how to create different pages like the about page contact page block page and different pages then after that, we have a search bar.
which is very very important because people will come over here and they will obviously search for something so the search bar is very important over here so we have that thing at the top after that at the right-hand side of the header we have this sign in and sign up button so if someone wants to sign up or sign in they can do it from here.
then as I said you earlier this section that you see a create a new account the section will be displayed only when a person is locked out if they log into your website if they signup to you're a website this section will disappear and they will see the website from this okay from here now this is our main section if you see this is divided into three sub-sections at the left-hand side we have a menu type of thing we have different options in the center we have the main content that is we have the main questions and answers and at the right-hand side we have a sidebar.
now if you see at the left-hand side you have few options we can add many more options over here creating communities or creating questions seeing which is the trending question which is the must-read question hot questions or popular questions creating polls reading polls seeing the best and trending tags which badges.
now badges are also a very important option with you now if you see this page here we can create different points and badges section for example, if you answer a question if you answer any question on this website you will get five points okay if you ants if your answer gets picked up as the best the answer you'll get 10 points so we'll have this point system in this website and whenever you reach a particular number of point you will get a badge for example.
if you reach 10 points you will get this beginner badge for example if you reach 50 points get a teacher badge 100 points pundit and so on and so forth and obviously you can change these colors these points and everything from here another benefit of using these points system is that you can earn some money from it.
so if this thing is really working on your website you can wear in a Cell point so if someone wants to purchase point if they are if they haven't answered anything but still, they want to purchase some point to get this badge they can purchase these points.
we'll see how to do that later on in this video now we also have this verified option so if someone comes to your website a big personality comes to your website they create an account you can verify their account just like this like just like we have on Facebook Twitter and YouTube now whenever someone wants to ask a question they can simply click on this button ask a question first, they will say it will ask them to log in.
if they are not already logged in and once they login let me show you what they will get now as you can see when they log in they will get this option they can put in a question title they can select a category they can give it any tag if this question is a poll they can select this option this is a poll.
and they can type in all the answers available have a featured image and all these options are available to you so this is the thing that a person will get when they click on this thing create a new question now at the right-hand a side we have few things so first of all, we have asked a question thing after that we have a few statistics like we have 21 questions on this website 71 answers.
12 answers were chosen as best answers and so on and so forth now we have few tabs like we are displaying the popular questions we show and we are also displaying a few recent answers or you can display the popular answers or anything like that now we also has the top members section so people with most points for example.
as you can see this person has 221 points professional badge 175 points explainer badge 133 points, pundit badge and at the bottom we have the training tabs now if you notice one thing both our sidebars the left and right they are sticky which means that when you scroll down or up both the sidebars are sticky and only the main section is getting scrawled so that is also a very good option now let's open a single question and let's see what we get all right to guess now as you can see when you open a single question you will see a screen like this.
now at the top, we have again we have some badge like this question is still in the process, once this question is answered or maybe once the person who asked who has put this question once this person selects any best answer.
and so this thing will change to answered and if this person if this question is closed this thing will change to close so you can change the status and you can put this badge at the top now this is the question as you can see these are all different tags now if you want to answer this thing just click on the answer you will be redirected to this section you can just put we put in your answer your name email address and all those things.
now there are a few answers given over here if you want you can upload or download them now I'll show you how you can use thumbs instead of this arrow so if you don't want this arrows if you want thumbs for thumbs up thumbs down I'll show you how you can do that you can share these things on different social profiles and there are many different options as I design we'll see those things later on in this video now let us see some more pages like we have the about page as you can see oh you're very simple about page we have the block page.
so we'll also see how to create blocks so that we get more traffic to our the website we'll also see how to create a simple contact page like you see over here we'll see how to create this badges page.
so that people can see what is the point for a particular thing and when will they get the badge so we'll create this page as well we'll also, create the members' page and there are many different styles of how we can showcase this member this is just one style we'll see different styles all right guess so this was a very short demo of a website that we'll be creating in this video.
